Command Line Parameters
BabelMap supports the following command line parameters.
- file_path_and_name : If you supply the file path and name of an uninstalled ttf/otf font as a parameter (e.g. BabelMap.exe C:\Fonts\MyFont.ttf), then this font will be temporarily installed for use in BabelMap, and BabelMap will be opened with this font selected.
- -font font_name : If the "-font" parameter is given followed by the name of an installed font (e.g. BabelMap.exe -font "Times New Roman") then the specified font will be selected when BabelMap is opened.
- -clean : If this parameter is specified then BabelMap will not read from or write to the system registery, and will use the default settings (and any other command line parameters).
- -tray : If this parameter is specified then BabelMap will be minimized to the system tray on start up. If you configure Windows to run BabelMap at start-up and apply this parameter then BabelMap will always be available on the system tray every time you turn on your computer.
- -debug : If this parameter is specified then BabelMap will run in Debug Mode, and write diagnostic messages to a log file (BabelMap.log) in the My Documents folder.
