𗃛 [¹lon₃] (a family name) is constructed from the middle of 𗤶 [¹ne'₄] 'heart' and the left side of 𘋾 [¹shon'₂] 'guardian spirit, protective deity' {𗤶𘁝𘋾𘊱} babelstone.co.uk/Tangut/WenhaiL…

𗃛 [¹lon₃] is used to transcribe the Chinese family name Liáng 梁 and other similar-sounding Chinese characters, such as liáng 涼, liàng 亮, and lóng 龍. The derivation from 𗤶 'heart' and 𘋾 'protective deity' is interesting but hard to explain.

Liáng 梁 was a rather common Chinese surname during the Western Xia. 𗃛𗣼𗋿 [¹lon₃ ²chha₃ ¹ur₄] = 梁德養 Liáng Déyǎng is credited with a role in the composition of both the Tangut Proverbs 《𘋥𘝿》 (1187) and the Tangut Synonyms 《𗧘𘙰》 (1188), although he may have died 1176.
