𗼆 [¹shon₃] (a clan name) is constructed from the left side of 𗼣 [¹ghyr₄] (a clan name) and the right side of 𗙴 [¹rar₁] 'ancestral clan, clan name' {𗼣𘊱𗙴𗡼} babelstone.co.uk/Tangut/WenhaiL…

This is a difficult one for me, but I will try to explain it as best as I am able. There are over a hundred Tangut characters which are used specifically as Tangut family names, and they almost all have a derivation from 𗤳 [²my₁] 'family name', and have a 'person' 𘢌 component.

The character 𗼆 [¹shon₃] seems to be a different type of family name as it derives from 𗙴 [¹rar₁] which seems to mean an ancestral name of some sort. There are only two clan name characters that derive from 𗙴, and the other is 𗼣 [¹ghyr₄] !

Unfortunately 𗼆 [¹shon₃] and 𗼣 [¹ghyr₄] are both dictionary-only characters, so we have no evidence of how these names were used and how they differed from ordinary family names. The only additional information we have is that 𗼆 is used in the name 𘌯𗼆 [¹chhen₃ ¹shon₃].
