Although not mentioned in the Sea of Writing's definition for 𗳻 [¹cha₃], it is most commonly used for Sanskrit transcription, such as 𗓚𘄽𗡝𗳻𗶕 = 摩訶迦旃延 = Mahākātyāyana (name of an arhat), and particularly in the word 𗳻𗌡 = zhāntán 栴檀 = Sanskrit candana 'sandalwood'.
