Command Line Parameters
BabelPad supports the following command line parameters.
- file_path_and_name : If you supply the file path and name of an uninstalled ttf/otf font as a parameter (e.g. BabelPad.exe C:\Fonts\MyFont.ttf), then this font will be temporarily installed for use in BabelPad, and BabelPad will be opened with this font selected.
- -font font_name : If the "-font" parameter is given followed by the name of an installed font (e.g. BabelPad.exe -font "Times New Roman") then the specified font will be selected when BabelPad is opened.
- -clean : If this parameter is specified then BabelPad will not read from or write to the system registery, and will use the default settings (and any other command line parameters).
- -map : If this parameter is specified then the character map dialog will be opened as soon as BabelPad starts.
- -debug : If this parameter is specified then BabelPad will run in Debug Mode, and write diagnostic messages to a log file (BabelPad.log) in the My Documents folder.
